Car Show Gets Second Chance After Weather Washout
After severe storms forced a last-minute cancellation in June, New Glarus Home is inviting the community back July 8 for an evening of classic cars, motorcycles, tractors, food, music and fun.
After severe weather forced organizers to cancel the original event just before it was set to begin in June, New Glarus Home is giving its Cruisin' the Campus car show a second chance.
The community car show will take place from 5 p.m. to dusk Tuesday, July 8, at New Glarus Home, 600 Second Ave., with organizers hoping Mother Nature cooperates this time around.
The June event was canceled as strong thunderstorms moved through New Glarus, but organizers say they're looking forward to welcoming everyone who had planned to attend—and even more visitors—for the rescheduled celebration.
Cruisin' the Campus will feature a wide variety of vehicles, including classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, motorcycles, tractors and other unique rides. Beyond the vehicles, the evening will also include local vendors, food, music and an opportunity for residents, families and community members to gather together.
