Carol Maveus, Who Loved Polka, Family and Swiss Heritage, Dies at 82
For more than three decades, Maveus served as Clarno Township treasurer while devoting her life to family, faith and Swiss traditions. She loved polka dancing, Friday nights at the New Glarus Hotel and making Brätzeli for family and friends.
