Earth Day Cleanups Offer Ways to Help New Glarus
New Glarus Cares and Friends of New Glarus Woods State Park are inviting volunteers to pitch in April 18, while residents who prefer to work alone can still make a difference by cleaning up roadsides, yards, trails, and public spaces.
New Glarus residents will have more than one opportunity to mark Earth Day this year, with organized cleanup efforts planned both in the village and at New Glarus Woods State Park on Saturday, April 18. The events offer a simple way for people to help freshen up the community after winter while getting outside and pitching in close to home.
