Edelweiss Chalet Country Club Crowns 2026 Stroke Play Champions

Seventy-three golfers competed in the two-day Edelweiss Chalet Country Club Member Stroke Play Club Championship in New Glarus, where Carter Ruegsegger defended his title by one stroke and Brenda Miler earned her 20th career championship.

Carter Ruegsegger successfully defended his championship-flight title at the 2026 Edelweiss Chalet Country Club Member Stroke Play Club Championship in New Glarus. Ruegsegger recorded rounds of 71 and 73 from the blue tees, finishing the two-day tournament at even-par 144 and holding off Craig Hodgson by one stroke.

Carter Ruegsegger successfully defended his title during the 2026 Member Stroke Play Club Championship at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus.

Ruegsegger shot rounds of 71 and 73 from the blue tees, finishing the two-day tournament at even-par 144. His performance allowed him to hold off Craig Hodgson by one stroke in the championship flight.

Hodgson made a strong charge during Sunday’s final round, shooting the lowest round of the tournament with a 2-under-par 70. He recorded a 34 on the back nine to keep the championship close down the stretch.

Brenda Miler won the women’s championship with a two-day total of 165. The victory marked the 20th club championship of her career at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club.
