Glarner Community Complex Nears Final Stages
Concrete work on the plaza is complete, utilities and insulation are in place, and crews are preparing to begin drywall, ceilings and doors as the new concession building and pavilion continue taking shape in New Glarus.
Construction of the new concession building, restrooms, pavilion and plaza at the Glarner Community Complex is moving into its final stages.
All utility rough-ins have been completed, insulation has been installed and concrete work on the plaza is finished, according to Dr. Jennifer Thayer, superintendent of the New Glarus School District.
The next stages of construction will include drywall, ceilings and doors, followed by the building’s interior finishes.
The facilities are part of Phase 2 of the Glarner Community Complex, located near The Bank of New Glarus Field across from New Glarus High School.
