Julseth Draws Scouting Attention After Strong Summer
New Glarus infielder Nolan Julseth turned heads on the summer baseball circuit, combining a .429 batting average with elite speed, a 90-mph infield arm and nearly 99 mph exit velocity as the uncommitted Class of 2027 prospect gained notice.
New Glarus High School baseball standout Nolan Julseth drew increased attention during the summer baseball circuit after putting together strong offensive numbers and posting several impressive measurable marks at showcase events.
Julseth, a member of the Class of 2027, played summer baseball with Hitters Baseball, a highly competitive Wisconsin-based travel and showcase program that competes nationally and emphasizes player development and college recruiting exposure.
During the summer, Julseth also appeared at showcase events covered by ScoutConnect, a baseball scouting and recruiting platform that evaluates high school prospects and shares video, performance data and observations with college programs and the broader baseball community. Evaluators highlighted Julseth’s speed, arm strength, hitting ability and overall athleticism.
At a ScoutConnect event, Julseth recorded a 6.66-second time in the 60-yard dash, an average exit velocity of 88.03 mph and a maximum exit velocity of 98.8 mph. His infield throwing velocity reached 90 mph.
