A weekend of sidewalk bargains, villagewide garage sales and summer shopping will bring visitors to New Glarus from Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19, as Maxwell Street Days returns alongside the annual garage sale weekend.

Maxwell Street Days, Garage Sales Set for July 17–19

New Glarus will welcome bargain hunters, shoppers and treasure seekers July 17-19 for Maxwell Street Days and the Village Wide Garage Sales, a summer weekend built around sidewalk sales, local deals and one-of-a-kind finds throughout the village.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, and continue through 5 p.m. Sunday, July 19, in New Glarus.

The weekend combines Maxwell Street Days shopping with garage sales throughout the village, giving residents and visitors a chance to browse sidewalk sales, visit local businesses, explore neighborhood sales and spend time in America’s Little Switzerland.
