New Glarus 4-H Club Shares Spring Highlights
New Glarus 4-H members earned ribbons, decorated cakes, cleaned up Highway 39 and prepared for summer events, including a Culver’s fundraiser and the Green County Fair in Monroe.
New Glarus 4-H Club members have been busy this spring with project competitions, community service and preparations for summer events.
The club’s spring activities included shooting sports, cake decorating, Adopt-a-Highway cleanup work, dairy judging practices and plans for a Culver’s Share Night fundraiser later this month.
Ivy and Gavic Haffner participated in the Tri-County Tournament as part of their 4-H Shooting Sports project, earning numerous ribbons in plinker and air rifle competitions.
Ava and Lexi Krueger also represented the club in a 4-H cake decorating competition. Ava placed first with both her bundt cake and trio of pasta-inspired cakes. Lexi placed second with both her owl cupcakes and pizza-inspired cake.
