New Glarus 4-H Club Thanks FFA Alumni for Generous Donation

A $500 donation from the New Glarus FFA Alumni will support New Glarus 4-H Club activities as members share recent talent show, dairy judging and animal science highlights and prepare for the Green County Fair in Monroe, July 15-19.

The New Glarus 4-H Club extends its sincere thanks to the New Glarus FFA Alumni for its generous $500 donation in support of member activities and projects. This contribution will help provide valuable learning opportunities for club members and continue the club’s positive impact on youth and the community.

4-H Member Activities

On May 29, Ayden McCoy, Reese Fricke, and Rory Fricke showcased their talents at the 4-H Talent Show in Monroe. Ayden shared her singing talents and presented a magic demonstration. Reese played the recorder, and Rory sang a vocal solo.

On June 13, Reese Speth, Stephanie Miller, Anna Blewett, Aaron Blewett, Ivy Haffner, and Gavic Haffner represented the club at the Green County Dairy Days Cattle show in Monroe. Together they exhibited 13 heifers including the Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, and Ayrshire breeds.

Area Animal Science Days were held on June 19 in Lancaster. Reese Speth participated in the 4-H Dairy Judging competition, where she was a member of the second-place team and finished eighth overall individually. Stephanie Miller also participated in the livestock judging competition.
