New Glarus Bicycle Rodeo Returns This Saturday
The free event, sponsored by the New Glarus Police Department and New Glarus Chamber of Commerce, will offer bike safety activities, helmets, lunch, prizes and more for children in grades K-4.
The New Glarus Bike Rodeo returns Saturday, May 16, giving local children a chance to practice bicycle safety, test their skills and enjoy a family-friendly event near Village Park.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fourth Avenue by Village Park, 313 Railroad St. It is sponsored by the New Glarus Police Department and New Glarus Chamber of Commerce and is open to children in kindergarten through fourth grade.
The New Glarus Police Department will have a bike safety obstacle course available for children. The first 50 children will receive a free bike helmet and goodie bag.
