New Glarus Boys Basketball Team Earns No. 5 Seed, Hosts Viroqua
The Glarner Knights will open WIAA Division 3 state boys basketball tournament March 3 at home against the Viroqua Blackhawks from the Coulee Conference.
New Glarus learned its postseason path Sunday morning as the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) released brackets for the 2026 boys basketball tournament, placing the Glarner Knights as a No. 5 seed in Division 3.
The Glarner Knights (14-8 overall, 7-2 Capitol South Conference) will host No. 12 seed Viroqua in a regional quarterfinal matchup Tuesday March 3, beginning their road toward the state finals set for March 19-21 at the Kohl Center in Madison.
