New Glarus Home Seeks Vendors for Aug. 12 Car Show
The New Glarus Home is seeking additional vendors and food trucks for its Aug. 12 Cruisin’ the Campus car show, which will feature cars, trucks, tractors, makers, music and a residents’ choice award from 5 to 8 p.m. at its campus.
The New Glarus Home is preparing for an even larger crowd when Cruisin’ the Campus returns Wednesday, Aug. 12, following a popular event held last month.
The community car show will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at the New Glarus Home, 600 Second Ave. The rain date is Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Organizers are still accepting registrations from vendors and food trucks and are encouraging area small businesses to participate. Boutique businesses, home-based businesses, wellness providers, makers and crafters are among those invited to reserve space at the event.
Food truck operators are also being sought to provide additional dining options as attendance grows. Organizers said the event offers participating businesses an opportunity to introduce their products and services to residents and other community members.
