New Glarus High School’s Homecoming Week is underway, with a Disney theme carrying students through dress-up days, class competitions, Thursday’s pep rally, Friday’s parade and football game, and Saturday night’s Homecoming dance.

The week began taking shape already Sunday when classes gathered at noon to decorate their hallways. Monday was also Pajama Day at the New Glarus High School, but the biggest change came later: With rain expected Wednesday, organizers moved Ultimate Powderpuff football to Monday night and shifted its Volleybuff volleyball game to Wednesday.

The Powderpuff schedule matched seniors against freshmen and juniors against sophomores before consolation and championship games.

Tuesday is Character Day, with the annual staff-vs.-student volleyball game scheduled for 2:45 p.m.
