New Glarus Police Attend National Night Out
Members of the New Glarus Police Department, including Chief Jeff Sturdevant, joined first responders and community organizations Tuesday at Monroe’s National Night Out, an event focused on public safety and community connections.
MONROE, Wis. — The New Glarus Police Department, represented by Chief Jeff Sturdevant, attended National Night Out on Tuesday, July 28, at Twining Park in Monroe.
The Green County Sheriff’s Office and Monroe Police Department hosted the three-hour event, which brought together law enforcement officers, first responders, community organizations and residents from throughout the area.
National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign intended to strengthen relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. The event also promotes crime and drug prevention awareness, neighborhood involvement and support for local public safety programs.
