New Glarus Riders Have a Shuttle Option to Madison & Monroe
The Green County ADRC shuttle gives New Glarus-area residents a low-cost way to reach Monroe for shopping, appointments, errands and social visits, with routes also serving Madison, Janesville and other communities.
New Glarus residents who do not drive, no longer drive regularly or simply need help getting to Monroe have a local transportation option many people may not know about.
The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Green County operates a shuttle bus network that includes a Belleville-New Glarus-Monticello to Monroe route on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, according to ADRC Green County. The shuttle is scheduled to arrive in Monroe at 9:30 a.m. and leave Monroe at 1 p.m.
