School Board Reviews Long-Range Campus Expansion Concept

The New Glarus School Board spent much of its Monday, Feb. 24 meeting reviewing an ambitious long-range facilities concept and feasibility study that could reshape the middle and high school campus in the decades ahead.

The presentation, delivered in the high school library, outlined a multi-phase expansion that includes a performing arts center, technical education expansion, remodeled academic areas and a possible future natatorium. Board members stressed repeatedly that the proposal is a conceptual feasibility study — not an imminent construction project.
