New Glarus Students Top State, Global AP Averages
New Glarus High School students earned a 93.23% pass rate on Advanced Placement exams during the 2025-26 testing season, exceeding state and global averages while several courses posted perfect passing results across 10 AP course offerings.
New Glarus High School students posted a 93.23% overall pass rate on Advanced Placement exams during the 2025-26 testing season, according to information released by the School District of New Glarus.
The district said 133 AP exams were administered across 10 Advanced Placement courses, with students earning 39 scores of 5, 49 scores of 4 and 36 scores of 3. A score of 3 or higher is considered a qualifying score by the College Board and may be recognized by many colleges and universities for college credit or advanced placement.
Only nine exams scored below 3, according to the district.
The school’s 93.23% pass rate exceeded the Wisconsin average of 78.18% and the global average of 72.45%.
