New Glarus Welcomes Dr. Christian Springer
New family medicine physician Christian Springer brings a collaborative approach to care, broad training and a strong interest in helping patients of all ages feel at home in New Glarus.
A new family medicine physician is now practicing in New Glarus, giving local patients another option for primary care close to home. Dr. Christian Springer has joined Dr. Robert Macnack and is seeing patients at SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group in New Glarus. He hopes to help create a true medical home for individuals and families in the community.
Springer comes to New Glarus with a background that stretches from Iowa to Missouri, Arizona and southern Wisconsin. He grew up in Waverly, Iowa, earned degrees in biology, international studies and psychology from Iowa State University, along with a master’s in biomedical sciences, then attended medical school at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. After clinical training in Phoenix during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, he chose to complete his residency with SSM Health in Monroe and decided to remain in the area.
