The final days are ticking down for a community fundraiser that supports youth baseball and softball programs in New Glarus and Monticello, with organizers encouraging residents to participate before time runs out.

The New Glarus Youth Baseball & Softball Association (NGYBA) said all proceeds raised are returned directly to the community through its mission of supporting local youth athletics and improving opportunities for young players across the area.

The organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supports both New Glarus Youth Baseball and the New Glarus-Monticello Youth Softball programs. Funds raised help cover a wide range of needs, including safety and field improvements, academic scholarships, team equipment, expanded opportunities for players and other program enhancements.
