Run for a Resident 5K Set for Sept. 26

New Glarus Home will host a 5K run/walk and 1-mile walk Sept. 26, giving residents and visitors another activity during Oktoberfest weekend while supporting an event centered on the people who call the New Glarus Home community home.

Run for a Resident 5K Set for Sept. 26

Runners and walkers will have another reason to get moving during New Glarus Oktoberfest weekend when New Glarus Home hosts its “Run for a Resident” event Saturday, Sept. 26.

The event begins at 10 a.m. and will offer two options: a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile walk. According to an event flyer released by New Glarus Home, participants are asked to register by Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Registration is available online at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/run-for-residents.

New Glarus Home, located at 600 2nd Ave., has served the New Glarus community for decades and provides skilled nursing and other senior living services.
