Swiss Center to Host Swiss National Day Open House After Volksfest

The Swiss Center of North America will celebrate Swiss National Day with a public open house on Sunday, Aug. 2, inviting residents and visitors to stop by following New Glarus Volksfest festivities.

The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Swiss Center, located at 507 Durst Road in New Glarus. Admission is open to the public.

Organizers encourage attendees to cool down after Volksfest while exploring the center's collection of Swiss-American and Swiss-Canadian artifacts, documents and historical items. The event will also include refreshments and an opportunity to socialize with friends and fellow visitors.
