The southern Wisconsin blues band earned three honors at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards, including repeat wins for Blues Performer and Organist of the Year.

The Jimmys had a big night Sunday at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards, bringing home three honors for the southern Wisconsin band with strong New Glarus-area ties.

Chris Sandoval was named Drummer of the Year, The Jimmys were named Blues Performer of the Year for the second year in a row, and band leader Jimmy Voegeli won Organist of the Year for the third straight year.

“It really is a huge honor,” the band said in a social media post, thanking fans for their support and congratulating the winners in other categories.
