New Glarus’ signature blues band begins its hometown summer schedule July 18 at the Blues, Brews & Food Truck Festival, then returns for two August shows at Ohana Kitchen during a wide-ranging tour across seven states through late August.

New Glarus’ signature blues band will continue a busy summer schedule before taking its award-winning sound to venues and festivals across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, New York and New Jersey..

Led by keyboardist and bandleader Jimmy Voegeli, The Jimmys have become one of Wisconsin’s best-known blues acts while maintaining deep roots in the New Glarus area. The group was named Wisconsin Music Industry Blues Band of the Year in both 2025 and 2026, adding to a reputation built through high-energy performances, seasoned musicianship and an extensive regional touring schedule.

Next the band is traveling to Tomahawk, Three Lakes, St. Paul and Prairie du Chien before heading west for several Minnesota performances. The tour later includes stops in Rockford, Monroe, Cleveland, Marlboro, New York, and Long Branch, New Jersey, where The Jimmys will close the announced schedule Aug. 29 at the Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival.
