This Weekend: Art, Music and Swiss Traditions

The New Glarus area heads into another busy late-summer weekend with art, music, books, sports, food and community traditions from Thursday, Aug. 20, through Sunday, Aug. 23.

Saturday will be especially busy, with Art in the Park, the Friends of the New Glarus Public Library Book Sale, the Wilhelm Tell Pageant and several musical performances all taking place within or near New Glarus.

One important note for visitors: The New Glarus Brewing Co. gift shop, tasting room and beer depot will be closed Friday, Aug. 21, for a brewery staff gathering. Regular business hours are scheduled to resume Saturday.
