Downtown New Glarus will turn into a Euchre-friendly gathering place this weekend as the World Euchre Championship brings players, spectators and curious visitors to America’s Little Switzerland.

The road will close Thursday as the big tent goes up downtown, and the tent will remain in place through Monday morning, giving the event a festival feel all weekend long.
