Top 10 Things to Do at the Green County Fair

The Green County Fair returns to Monroe from Wednesday, July 15, through Sunday, July 19, bringing five days of livestock shows, midway rides, live music, grandstand action and some of the most anticipated fair food in southern Wisconsin.

There is no single correct way to experience the fair. Some visitors arrive early to watch young exhibitors tend to their animals. Others come at dinnertime with fried cheese curds on their minds, stay for the grandstand show and finish the night beneath the lights of the midway.

Whether you are planning one carefully timed visit or intend to return throughout the week, these are 10 experiences that belong on any Green County Fair itinerary.
