Two Killed in Highway 92 Crash in Town of Primrose
Authorities say a head-on crash between a truck and a sedan in the Town of Primrose claimed the lives of both drivers Monday evening. Highway 92 remained closed for more than five hours as investigators worked at the scene.
Two people were killed Monday evening in a head-on crash on State Highway 92 in the Town of Primrose, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:49 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 92 and Spring Rose Road, north of County Highway A, northwest of New Glarus. Deputies responded along with Mount Horeb Police, Verona Police, Belleville Police, and Mount Horeb Fire and EMS.
Authorities said the crash involved two vehicles, each occupied by a single driver. Initial investigation indicates one vehicle crossed the center line and struck the other head-on.
