Vintage Cars Climb Kubly Road in New Glarus
Classic Alfa Romeos and vintage sports cars gathered May 2 near Elmer and Kubly roads as drivers made their hill climb runs, drawing a small crowd to this uniquely Swiss-inspired New Glarus event.
Classic sports cars from the Chicago area rolled into New Glarus for the annual hill climb, with drivers gathering Saturday morning at the intersection of Elmer and Kubly Road before making their runs east of Roy’s Market.
It was a cool, partly cloudy early May day, though not out of the ordinary for the season, and the sun occasionally broke through to warm both drivers and spectators as engines revved and cars lined up for their climb.
