MADISON, Wis. — Voegeli Farm of rural New Glarus turned in another strong showing at World Dairy Expo this week, led by V B Phantom Sinister, who won the five-year-old cow class in the 2026 International Brown Swiss Show.

Sinister, shown by Voegeli Farm Inc. of Monticello, topped a five-cow class this week at the Alliant Energy Center. Judge Richard “RT” Thompson of Darlington placed her first, citing her mammary balance, symmetry, dairy quality and freer movement on her rear legs.

The win continued a strong run for Sinister at World Dairy Expo. As a four-year-old in 2025, she won her class and went on to earn Honorable Mention Grand Champion and Honorable Mention Senior Champion honors.

Voegeli-connected cattle also placed near the top in several other classes this year. V B HJ Cv Ray Vendetta, owned by Christopher and Hilary Voegeli of Monticello, finished third in the Yearling Heifer in Milk class.
