Volunteers Needed for New Glarus Oktoberfest
Organizers are seeking volunteers for New Glarus Oktoberfest Sept. 24-27 to help with setup, teardown, beer pouring and token sales. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt or Oktoberfest stein, and a separate paid trash crew is also needed.
New Glarus Oktoberfest organizers are looking for volunteers to help keep this year’s four-day celebration running smoothly from Sept. 24-27.
Volunteer opportunities include helping with setup and teardown, pouring beer and selling tokens during the festival. Organizers are encouraging community members to pitch in to help make the event possible.
Those who volunteer will receive either a free T-shirt or an Oktoberfest stein as a thank-you for their time.
Organizers are also seeking a paid trash crew for Thursday and Friday nights. The work pays $300 per shift or $600 for someone who works both nights. Anyone interested in the paid positions can contact annie@swisstown.com.
