Wine, shopping and an evening stroll through downtown New Glarus will come together again Friday, Oct. 9, when the annual New Glarus Wine Walk returns as a fundraiser for the Chalet of the Golden Fleece Museum.
Registration will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Chalet, 618 2nd St. The Wine Walk itself runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m., with participating downtown businesses offering wine tastings and snacks throughout the evening. Also, the museum will be open during registration and guides will be available to highlight items or answer any questions.
Participants will receive a wine glass along with a map of participating retailers and the wines being served. The event will feature a selection of local, domestic and imported wines, while registration also gives participants an opportunity to browse the Chalet’s collection before heading downtown.
