Have you ever clicked a New Glarus 360 story from Facebook, only to discover that the website no longer recognizes that you are logged in?
For some readers, that has meant entering an email address, retrieving a six-digit passcode and signing in again — sometimes every time they return from Facebook. It is unnecessary friction between readers and the stories they are already entitled to read.
Well, there’s a new solution.
Meta has introduced Forum, a new app built specifically around Facebook Groups. Instead of opening Facebook and sorting through friends, Pages, videos and everything else, Forum puts the Groups you follow together in one dedicated app. Meta began publicly testing Forum in May and says the app is fully synchronized with Facebook Groups.
