Four New Glarus Golfers Earn Academic All-State Honors
Four New Glarus student-athletes earned 2026 Academic All-State honors from the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin, joining a statewide group of 498 golfers recognized for strong grades, varsity participation and conduct this season.
Four New Glarus golfers have been recognized for their achievements in the classroom and on the course during the 2026 season.
Isaac Ingwell, Grady Johnson, Kofi Belknap and Kellen Martinson were named Academic All-State honorees by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin.
“The GCAW is proud to announce that 498 students from 167 different high schools have been honored this year,” said Ryan Krall, chairman of the association’s Academic All-State Committee. “The average GPA of these students is an exceptional 3.79.”
To qualify, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 and must have participated in at least 75% of the team’s varsity competitions during the season.
