Free Access Ends at Midnight

Tonight is the final night of New Glarus 360’s introductory free-access period. After midnight, premium content will be available only to paid subscribers.

Free Access Ends at Midnight

Since launch, we have made New Glarus 360 broadly free so readers could experience what a stronger local news source for New Glarus and the surrounding area could look like.

That introductory period ends at midnight.

Beginning tomorrow, premium content on New Glarus 360 will be available only to paid subscribers. That includes much of the broader local coverage we have been building since launch across government, schools, sports, business, community life, history, features, and breaking news.

A Free Plan Will Still Remain

If you stay on the free plan, you will still get access to quite a bit. Free members will continue to receive newsletters, announcements, public notices, public safety-related news, and story previews.

For readers who mainly want a lighter way to stay connected and keep up with key community information, the free plan will still offer real value.

But it will no longer include the same level of access readers have had during the launch period.

What Changes After Midnight?

After midnight, full access to premium stories and broader site content will shift to paid subscribers.

That means if you regularly read New Glarus 360 and want to continue seeing the fuller report, now is the time to subscribe.

What Paid Plans Cost

Paid plans begin at $2 a month or $20 a year for Basic Access.

That annual plan works out to about $1.67 a month.

Higher tiers are also available for readers who want additional benefits such as sports, heritage, photo galleries, archives, and more.

Why We Are Making This Change

The launch period was designed to introduce New Glarus 360 to the community and show what more frequent, more local coverage could look like.

The next step is building something that lasts.

Subscriptions help support more reporting, more photographs, more sports coverage, more community features, and a stronger local publication rooted right here in New Glarus.

Thank You

We also want to sincerely thank the readers who have already subscribed. Your early support has meant a great deal, especially during a period when the site remained broadly free for everyone.

If you have been reading regularly and want to continue accessing premium content after midnight, this is the moment to make the switch.

– If you value strong local journalism in New Glarus, subscribe today and help support more local coverage, more often.
