Green County Dairy Days Showcases Youth Dairy Talent
More than 50 young exhibitors from Wisconsin and Illinois brought 113 dairy heifers to the Green County Dairy Days Cattle Show, competing in showmanship and breed classes while celebrating June Dairy Month, youth agriculture and the region’s deep commitment to the dairy industry.
MONROE, Wis. — The Green County Fairgrounds was filled with dairy heifers Saturday, June 13, for the 2026 Green County Dairy Days Cattle Show.
The event included 55 participants from southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, with exhibitors showing 113 dairy heifers across 28 heifer classes.
The annual Green County event is hosted by the Green County Ag Chest during June Dairy Month. Dairy Days also includes a banquet for the crowning of the Green County Dairy Queen and Green County Dairy Princess, with Albany serving as the host community in 2026.
At the cattle show, youth exhibitors led their heifers around the ring while demonstrating the work, care and dedication they have invested in their dairy projects.
