New Glarus Finishes Strong at Hartford Invite
The New Glarus Glarner Knights shaved a shot off their team total on Day 2, finished 42nd in a demanding 36-hole event, and got a steady leading effort from Isaac Ingwell in their varsity season opener.
HARTFORD, Wis. — The New Glarus Glarner Knights closed out a demanding two-day, 36-hole tournament Saturday by posting an official team score of 699 and finishing 42nd at the 2026 Hartford Invitational high school boys golf tournament. After opening with a 350 on Friday, New Glarus came back with a 349 on Day 2.
That one-shot improvement may not sound dramatic on paper, but in a long early-season tournament loaded with larger programs, it gave the Glarner Knights a solid step forward in their first varsity meet of the year.
