The New Glarus Glarner Knights closed out their 2026 boys golf season Tuesday at the WIAA Division 2 Sectional 3-B regional tournament, finishing eighth as a team against a deep field that included several state-ranked programs.

New Glarus posted a team score of 368, finishing just behind Prairie du Chien (365) and ahead of Monticello/Belleville (379) and Brodhead (443). Platteville won the regional title with a score of 318, followed by Lancaster at 327, Cuba City/Benton/Southwestern at 329, and Monroe at 335. The top four teams advanced to sectional play.

Senior Isaac Ingwell led the Glarner Knights with an 84, finishing one stroke shy of earning one of the final individual qualifying spots for sectionals. According to coaches, Ingwell was putting together a strong round before running into trouble over the final five holes.
