New Glarus Real Estate Transfers Slow in September

Real estate transfer activity slowed in September across the New Glarus area, according to data from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue’s Real Estate Transfer Return system.

The September report includes seven transfers in the data reviewed for the New Glarus area. That was down from 19 transfers in August, eight in July and 14 in June.

Four of the September transfers were in the Town of New Glarus, two were in the Village of New Glarus and one was in the Town of Washington.

The month-to-month change was most noticeable after August’s busier report, which included 10 transfers in the village and nine in the town.
