August Real Estate Transfers Rebound in New Glarus
After a slower July, real estate transfers picked back up in August across the New Glarus area, with 19 transfers recorded in the village and town, including a nearly even split between village and town properties.
Real estate transfer activity rebounded in August across the New Glarus area, according to data from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue’s Real Estate Transfer Return system.
The August report includes 19 real estate transfers in the Village of New Glarus and Town of New Glarus. That compares with eight transfers recorded in July.
The village again accounted for the largest share of activity, with 10 transfers recorded in August. That was up from six village transfers in July.
The bigger month-to-month change came in the Town of New Glarus, where nine transfers were recorded in August after just two in July.
