Wisconsin regulators have approved new utility rate increases for several of the state’s largest energy providers beginning in 2026, a move that comes as many households are already feeling higher winter heating bills after a colder-than-average start to the season.
In New Glarus, the impact of those increases depends largely on where a household is located and which utility provides service.
