Counterfeit Stamps Reported in New Glarus Area

Postal officials in New Glarus and Blanchardville are warning residents to be cautious when buying postage stamps after encountering counterfeit “Forever” stamps circulating in the area.

The warning was shared Friday after local postal staff reported seeing more instances of counterfeit versions of the 2018 American flag “USA Forever” stamp appearing in mail processed through the two communities.
