Dugout Construction Begins at Veterans Park

Work continues on long-planned upgrades to the Veterans Park ballfield in New Glarus as construction on new dugouts begins, with the New Glarus High School baseball team scheduled to start practice March 23.

Dugout Construction Begins at Veterans Park

Construction has begun on new dugouts at the Veterans Park ballfield, marking the next phase of safety upgrades led by the New Glarus Youth Baseball Association (NGYBA).

The improvements follow preliminary work completed late last fall. In November, crews removed the aging outfield fence and completed early layout work for the future warning track and other field adjustments.
