Green County Board to Review Staffing Changes, Major Purchases Tuesday
A full agenda awaits county leaders Tuesday night in Monroe, as supervisors consider staffing changes, human services items, and a major highway equipment purchase during the Jan. 13 meeting.
The Green County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. in the county boardroom at the Green County Courthouse in Monroe, with a full agenda that includes staffing changes, human services items and a major highway equipment purchase.
The meeting will open with routine business, followed by presentations recognizing county employees. Human Resources Director Delores Merrick will present Green County’s annual service awards, and Victoria Solomon will deliver a presentation on the RESET report.
Several resolutions are scheduled for consideration, beginning with a proposal affecting the Green County Development Corporation. Supervisors will review a resolution that would eliminate a part-time marketing and events coordinator position and create a new full-time community development coordinator role. According to the agenda, the change would be made within the existing GCDC budget and would not impact the tax levy.
