Green County residents will have a chance in early May to dispose of old electronics for free during a special electronic waste recycling event at the Green County Landfill near Brodhead. The event is open only to Green County residents and does not include businesses.

The collection is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, through Friday, May 8, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to noon, at the landfill, W2002 County SS, Brodhead.
