Highway 69 is open again, but the next round of construction delays is expected to begin next week between Monroe, Monticello and New Glarus.
According to the latest weekly update from Jim Grender, P.E., of CGC, Inc., crews are expected to begin asphalt paving for a 2-foot shoulder widening from Monroe to just south of Wittenwyler Road by Monticello.
That work is expected to take place in both the northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 69 and will be done under flagging operations. Drivers should expect delays throughout the working day.
The work is weather dependent and subject to adjustment.
