Town of York officials will meet Sept. 22 to review whether the 2026 budget needs amendments and begin work on the 2027 spending plan ahead of a future public hearing and special town elector meeting, with public comment also on the agenda.

Town of York to Begin 2027 Budget Discussions

The Town of York Board will hold a budget meeting Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, N8105 Postville Road, Blanchardville, with participation also available by video conference.

The meeting marks an early step in preparing the town’s 2027 budget while also giving board members an opportunity to review the current year’s finances.

According to the posted agenda, the board will first discuss the 2026 budget and determine whether any amendments are needed. The agenda does not identify specific accounts, departments or proposed changes.

Board members will then begin discussing the 2027 budget in preparation for a future public hearing and special town elector meeting. Those later meeting dates are not included in the Sept. 22 agenda.
