I’m Logged In but Still Can’t Access Articles

Seeing your name or email on the site does not always mean your account includes access to every story. This guide explains how to check your membership, confirm the correct email address and resolve common browser or login problems.

I’m Logged In but Still Can’t Access Articles

If you are logged in to New Glarus 360 but still cannot open a locked article, the problem is usually related to your membership level, the email address connected to your account or your browser settings.

Try the steps below before contacting us for assistance.

Confirm You Are Using the Correct Email Address

Many readers have more than one email address. You may be signed in with a different address than the one used to purchase your subscription.

Sign out of New Glarus 360, then sign in again using the email address that receives your New Glarus 360 newsletters, receipts or membership notices.

If you paid by check, use the email address you provided when arranging your subscription.

Check Your Membership Level

Some articles are available to all registered members, while others are reserved for paid subscribers.

Being logged in as a free member does not provide access to stories marked for paid members. Visit your account page to confirm that your membership is active and includes the subscription level required for the article.

Check Whether Your Paid Subscription Has Expired

Subscriptions purchased online may end if a renewal payment is declined or the membership is canceled. Subscriptions purchased by check do not renew automatically.

Review your account information and recent emails from New Glarus 360 for renewal notices, payment problems or expiration reminders. If you do not immediately find them, check your spam folder.

You Complimentary Subscription May Have Expired

Some readers received free temporary or complimentary access to New Glarus 360 for a limited period. If that access period has ended, you may still be signed in to your account but no longer have permission to open articles reserved for paid subscribers.

Check your email for any notice explaining when the complimentary subscription was scheduled to expire. To continue reading locked stories, you will need to select an active paid subscription plan.

Sign Out and Sign Back In

Your browser may be displaying an older version of the page or may not have updated your membership status.

Sign out of New Glarus 360, close the browser tab and then return to the website. Sign in again using the correct email address and reopen the article.

Open the Newest Sign-In Email

New Glarus 360 may send a secure sign-in link to your email address. Use the most recent sign-in email you received.

Older links may no longer work after a newer link has been requested. Check your spam or junk folder if the email does not appear in your inbox.

Check Your Browser Settings

Private browsing modes (a.k.a. incognito), strict privacy settings, disabled cookies and some browser extensions can interfere with the sign-in process.

Make sure cookies are enabled for the New Glarus 360 website. You may also try temporarily disabling ad blockers or privacy extensions, opening the website in a standard browser window or using a different browser or device.

Refresh the Article

After signing in, return to the locked article and refresh the page. On a computer, you can use the browser’s refresh button. On a phone or tablet, close the article and open it again from the website.

Still Having Trouble?
