The downtown shop brings Swiss imports, dirndls, gifts and personal service back to New Glarus, reconnecting shoppers with local heritage.
For Jackie Judd-Scheurer, opening Jackie’s European Imports wasn’t just a business decision, it was the realization of a lifelong dream.
“It’s been a longtime dream of mine,” Judd-Scheurer said. “I’ve worked in town for over eight years, and Esther has been a dear friend for many years.”
Judd-Scheurer, who was born and raised in Switzerland, said it felt natural to focus her shop on Swiss imports.
