"UPS Guy" Mark Cooper to Retire from UPS Friday
Longtime local UPS driver Mark Cooper plans to retire Friday, April 24, marking the end of an era for many residents who came to know and appreciate him on his route.
Mark Cooper, the longtime UPS driver who has become a familiar and well-liked face in New Glarus, is retiring from United Parcel Service on Friday, April 24, New Glarus 360 has learned.
Cooper has spent 37 years with UPS, including the past nine years delivering in New Glarus, where he built a strong reputation for kindness, reliability and the personal relationships he developed with residents, businesses and even their pets.
