New Glarus 360 Approved for WNA Membership
The new local news platform has been accepted as an associate business member of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, marking a milestone for local journalism and future growth in New Glarus.
New Glarus 360 has been approved as an associate business member of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association (WNA), a statewide organization representing newspapers and online news publishers across Wisconsin.
The approval places New Glarus 360 among professional news organizations throughout the state and opens the door to expanded resources, training and industry support.
Associate business membership is available to enterprises engaged in publishing newspapers or online-only news websites, according to WNA eligibility standards. The designation provides access to legislative representation, central office services, statewide advertising networks, industry conventions, directories, newsletters and the WNA Legal Hotline.
For New Glarus 360, the acceptance represents both validation and forward momentum. Since launching, the platform has focused on delivering consistent, locally grounded coverage of schools, sports, government, business and community events in the greater New Glarus community.
Full membership status may be pursued after one year in business, provided publication and content standards are met. That pathway offers additional participation opportunities, including eligibility for the WNA Foundation Better Newspaper Contest.
The association’s approval signals recognition of New Glarus 360’s role in strengthening local Wisconsin news coverage and supporting the long-term health of community journalism in New Glarus.
